In the app
- Want a copy first? Email hello@wbu-app.com and we'll send it within one month, free. Ask before you delete, because once deletion is complete there is nothing left to send.
- If you pay for Pro or a circle, cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account doesn't cancel it.
- Open Settings, then Privacy and data, then Delete my account.
- If you own a circle, you'll be asked who should look after it.
- Press and hold Hold to delete everything until it fills, then confirm with Face ID or your passcode.
What happens
- Deleting starts straight away. You can undo it for 7 days. After that, your account, your whole diary and everything you've shared are deleted for good.
- The people you were linked with simply stop seeing anything from you. They aren't sent a notification.
- Your phone number can be used to sign up again later, as a new account.
Can't get into your account?
Email hello@wbu-app.com with "Delete my account" in the subject. We can only delete an account for someone who can show it's theirs.
