Cookies and tracking

In force from 2 November 2026.

The short version

wbu does not use cookies or tracking tools beyond what is strictly necessary to make things work. That is why you will not see a cookie banner.

On this website

  • We do not use analytics, advertising, social media or session-recording tools.
  • We do not load code or fonts from other companies.
  • We do not set cookies to follow you.
  • Our hosting company may keep basic server records (such as your IP address and the page asked for) for a short time, to keep the site running and secure.

In the app

  • The app does not contain advertising, analytics or tracking software.
  • The app does not use an advertising identifier.
  • The app stores some things on your phone because it needs them to work, for example your sign-in and your settings. This is strictly necessary, so the law does not require your consent for it.
  • If the app crashes, Apple or Google may give us a technical crash report. It does not contain your entries or names.

Adverts for wbu elsewhere

We may advertise wbu on other websites and apps. Those adverts are outside wbu. We put no tracking code on this website or in the app, and we do not send any data about you from wbu to the advertising company.

If this changes

If we ever add anything beyond what is strictly necessary, we will update this page and our privacy policy first, and ask for your consent before it starts.
